The San Juan Historical Museum is located on the 116 year-old James King Farmstead. Eight buildings comprise the grounds and include the original farmhouse, carriage house, root cellar and milk house. The original San Juan County jail, 1890’s log cabin, a barn, and resource center complete the grounds. There are exhibits in each structure, while the resource center houses an exhibit gallery, research library and administrative offices. The Museum is open April through October, and in the off-season by appointment.
